Question about the SOG bowie 2.0

Hello all,

I am hoping that you all can help me.

I am wanting to buy the SOG bowie 2.0, but wanted to know if anyone has had any problems with it?

Here are my questions about the SOG bowie 2.0:

Has anyone used it for chopping? How good did it do?

Is the tip strong? Anyone having problems with the tip breaking?

Anyone ever used it to pry things open, (yes, I know knives aren't made for that, but sometimes, you gotta do, what you gotta do)?

I need a knife that can take a beating and rise up again to take another.

I've got a Super Bowie on my wanted list; I'm curious about this as well. I'm fairly sure the SOG bowies are all fighting knives at heart, so some more down to earth experience would be great.
 
I love sog knives always have, but i had a sog bowie that i through into a log, i know stupid of me, and it snaped right in half at the hilt! I shouldn't have thrown it, but none the less i feel like it really shouldn't have broke either. Oh it stuck right in too, it wasn't a bad throw or anything the blade just couldn't take the pressure i guess. I still like sog though. hope this helps

What type of SOG bowie did you have? How old was it? And last, but not least, was it a Fatory Second?
