The trainer handle is very strong. I'm not aware of any problems/ complaints at all from the trainers we have ever sold . If you have any more question please feel free to email me vmperkins@hotmail.com

The fiberglass version of the VTT is a top notch training tool. It is very sturdy and meant for hard abuse. I've used it in training against machetes, wooden ones, and it held up to repeated hard blows that I blocked. It is an excellent tool and well worth the money. If you're going to seriously train with the VTT get one of these first. Its best to make mistakes with the trainer than the real VTT.
Unfortunately, I 've already made mistakes with my VT. Nailed myself in the elbow with the spike. Left a hole in my shirt, and a bit of a indented cut in my skin, but no permanent damage. I just got my trainer today though, so maybe that won't happen again.

I've punched myself in the leg with my VT too, damn the thing work when swinging with it!
some stiches after I've placed an order for a trainer too and it's a great tool!
Those trainer make you can practice some more and really achieve a higher level!
