Question about the Triage

Regarding the version of the Triage that has the "opposing bevel" tip, can anyone tell me if the tip (the opposing bevel portion) is blunt or sharp? Thanks!

What are your thoughts on serrations for this knife, given its intended application? It seems the opposing bevel version is only available with serrations, but the other blade style is available either way.
 
I have one and love it, the 916SBK. I don't usually carry serrated knives, but this one is really nice with the serrations. I highly recommend this knife. Brad
