Question about the ZT 0200

I have been EDCing a Kershaw Tremor for 2 years now, and while I absolutely love my Tremor, I feel it's time for an upgrade.
I think I may have settled on the Zero Tolerance 0200. Does anyone have both that they could take a comparison shot? I think they are similar length wise ( I also know the 0200 is WAY more massive in terms of its build). Thanks everyone in advance!

My Tremor and my Bk10.

I don't have a Tremor either. I do have a 0200. It's a great knife, big and heavy and...well, big. Like all ZTs, it fills a pocket. It's a bit on the thick side as well. But it also is a very ergonomic knife that comfortably fits the hand better than the pocket. Some dislike the recurve blade for sharpening reasons but I've not had any problem using my Sharpmaker or with stropping it on a leather covered wood block. If you need a heavy duty working knife, it's right up there on the list.

Ditto on the no Tremor, and the 0200 love (especially after I ground the scales smooth)
If it helps, though, here's a shot of the 0200 with a BK2

Man, that looks really nice with the scales sanded down.

The 0200 is a really ridiculous knife. It's got huge sweeping curves in the blade (which are actually functional), gigantic thick liners (which are as thick as some framelocks), hugediculous handle / scales (which are very ergonomic and comfy), a gigantic pivot and stop pin (enabling it to withstand really insane stresses), and a manual flipper feature (that works beautifully). It's big and weighs a lot. Much bulkier than the Tremor. However, I still quite liked mine - I did find it a bit unwieldy, however, due to the sheer size of it. I found I had to carry a smaller knife if I wanted to get any fine control cuts going.

The 0200 is a knife you can't kill, but I wouldn't say it's great EDC. An 0801 makes for much better utility work, in my opinion, and is arguably more robustly and reasonably built.

I love my ZT0200, but, ...it is big and heavy, and the scales are a bit abrasive.

Big Mike

Thanks everyone for the pics, that really helps put it into perspective. I'm pretty sure I've settled on the 0200, just have to start saving my pennies, lol.

I like bigger folders, and have a 0200. But I will never use it for edc.
It is simply too heavy, too clunky and the bladeshape is also not useful for average edc like tasks.

Have to agree with Divo I have one and its a kick ass knife but dont carry it much, when you do though you know you have a knife that wont let you down its a beast.

I have one. The way its handle is made I would not worry about losing my grip on it.

And I agree that it is big and heavy.

As it has been stated, the 0200 is fantastic, but too bulky for a comfortable EDC. Still use mine 5 days a week as my work knife, but for EDC, I carry my 0550 as my primary most of the time.

Here is a photograph that includes Kershaw Tremor and a ZT 0200 and a few others for sizing comparison. I like the way the Tremor feels and I love the 'Persian' styled blade, but my current EDC is the JYD SG2 with a STR pocket clip.

BINGO! This picture is what I've been looking for. Yeah, the size doesn't bother me at all. Thank you for the comparison pic, Haiduke.

been eyeing the 200 for some time now. i really like it's looks, the 154cm, and the handle. but a number of things concern me. first is its size and weight. might not get that much pocket time. second is in sharpening the recurve (i'm a free-hander.) then there's the stop-stud (nm?) does it really tend to fall off, and how essential is it, really?

last, though not its fault, it's going to make my millies look wimpy.

My 200 had a very weak detent. I have heard others say this as well. If you like a strong detent like I do you may want to handle one before you buy.
