Question about Tim Wegner knife.

I recently picked up a used Wegner model spyderco knife. There
is only one liner and the scales are held on with screws not
pinned. The scales are carbon fiber with one side polished.
The back spacer is decorated with file work. Should there be any
washers on the side of the blade? And if so, what material should
they be?

I wasn't aware that Spyderco made a version with carbon fiber. Can you post a pic? I would love to see it. I would go nuts for a carbon fiber Wegner with all screw construction.

Sounds like someone had some custom work done, or maybe a prototype from Bladetech/Spyderco???

Is it acutally marked Spyderco on the blade? Could it be one of the high end customes that sells on Bladeart.com and at the Bladetech website?

A pic would be quite nice.

What I thought was carbon fiber might be G-10 instead.
I just have never seen G-10 polished to a glassy finish.
I will try to supply a photo later tonight.
