Question about tv show Navy NCIS

I have been a casual viewer of this show, if I got the chance to watch it, I did, if I missed it, it was no big deal. Last night's episode wasn't bad, but the ending surprised me. Has the show been cancelled?

Why was she killed? She was some great eye candy, I don't understand why they would want to axe her. Big surprise to me.

I was wondering the same thing. That actress was the main reason I watched that show. I am guessing she got offered bigger and better roles somewhere else. Right before the bad guy popped her in the head I told my wife, "They sure relaxed quickly without being positive they had cleared the area." Right about then Kate gets perforated.
 
I don't care what the reason is I am seriously bummed. :( :( The one glimmer of hope is that both Kate and Abby talked about having dreams and one of Kate’s was actually seen so I'm hoping that Kate's death was a "dream sequence" because I do not want Sasha to leave the show. Unless she is quitting to be in a movie where she would appear nude :eek: :eek: :eek: . Then I would be more than happy for her to leave NCIS. :D :p ;)
 
I didn't think about possible nude scenes. If that might happen, then I don't have many problems with last nights episode.

I had those exact thoughts myself.

If they had killed Abby I would have seriously been pissed.

That farting hippo was cracking me up. I have a little niece that loves hippos and fart jokes, I wish I could actually find one of those for her.

I didn't want to give the farting hippo away to NV.

From a USA Today article re: the wave of TV character deaths this season:

"An actor leaves. When Sasha Alexander asked to leave NCIS, creator Donald Bellisario rewrote the season finale, weaving the death of her character, agent Kate Todd, into a story about a terrorist hunting down her colleague, Jethro Gibbs. Bellisario sees possibility: "an opportunity to bring in a new character and start a new dynamic.""

Oh, well I guess that's it. :( :(

Good show, I enjoy it too. And "Kate" was easy on the eyes....
 
When I watched the tape this morning, I literally yelled "NO!" at my TV and threw my remote in the floor when that final shot hit, I am a huge fan of this show and she was great on it.

I'll still watch next season, but if they kill Abby...Don Belisario better leave the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
