Hey guys i have noticed that vic stamps rostel(umbrella design) and office sussie on thier blades is this where they get thier steel form or is this thier factorie's markings?

Officier suisse was just the name given to the Victorinox tools in 1897. In 1891, it was the "couteau soldat". Officier Suisse means Officer from Switzerland, what the umbrella stuff is, I don't know. The little + sign is probably for Switzerland.

Hi,

The "umbrella" is a crossbow - Vic has used that as a trademark on a number of their products at different times.

Hopefully this may help?

Victorinox SAKs - the other Tang Stamp

That "umbrella" as pointed out is actually a crossbow - a Swiss national symbol
