Question about Victorinox rivets

I've been alternating between the Cadet & Pioneer.
It seems the rivets are a different material for the 2.
Just out of curiosity, what are they made of?
They're not stainless steel, that's obvious.
ps today I'll butcher a hog with the Pioneer, tomorrow with the Cadet.

Sorry I can't answer your rivet question but kudos for using a slipjoint for such an arduous task.
On a side ponder, I dont know why they'd make the rivets out of different material between the two models

Aluminum(?) and German Silver/Nickle Silver/White Brass?
Something that is easy to set/"peen" without heat.
I "think" on the cellidor models all the pins are brass.

They temporarally ran out of one material?
Is it possible the only difference in them is the anodize color, if aluminum?

okeydokey
I just discovered the spear point on the 2 is the perfect critter opener upper.
Edge retention is on par with my Buck 307.
A sheepsfoot is better for joints but so far I'm impressed.
