Question about wait time for inkosi insingo

Hey all, sorry if this is a FAQ. Does anyone know roughly how long the wait time is for a large inkosi insingo with red or natural linen micarta ordered directly from CRK? (They've been sold out on knifeart since they were announced)
 
My guess is that you're better off ordering from your dealer of choice (per the suggestion to do so on CRK's site).
If you want the red linen micarta, I hope your dealer of choice is KSF...because that option is their exclusive. I don't think it's available on a factory direct order.
 
I wrote to CRK and the answer was "around 4 months"

From Angela at CRK:

You haven't been able to find an Inkosi Insingo from a dealer because we just introduced this option at Blade Show 2017 the first week of June.
We took 90 of those knives to the show and sold them all.
We have yet to send out the next batch of these knives as we operate on a back order.
We are hoping to start shipping these knives in September.
I am sorry that you are not able to find one from a dealer quite yet.
If you placed and order direct from us the wait would be about 4 months currently.

I decided to just get the Large Inkosi w/ Red Linen Micarta and the drop point blade. I'll save up for the insingo, which will hopefully be readily available by the time i'm ready to drop another five bills on a blade :)
