Question about Warranty

Hey guys

I've loved lurking this sub forum and it seems like you're all some great guys. :D

I have a buck 503 prince that was essentially my first knife. Over the years, I've worn down the blade and stopped carrying it.

IIRC, I've read that Buck will replace the blade if its been worn down if a request is made.

How much is this service? Also, do they do the same for fixed blades?

Yes I would think so . Contact them first before sending it in . 800-326-2825 warranty dept.. Let us know how it goes and thanks there are a bunch of great guys here . DM
 
I don't know how much for either the folder or fixed . Just call . I have a 503 Prince and like it as well . Thats an attractive series . DM
 
Thanks for that number, I'll call them tomorrow. I agree the 503 is a very handsome knife and I'd love to carry it once again.
 
I dont believe that they do fixed blades. I would assume that it is $10 for the 503 blade, same as a 110 but not sure.
 
Didnt know that:foot:-good info-thanks DM, I would have sworn that I read here somewhere that they didnt-maybe old ones? I dont know:confused:
 
Retire that one. Let it become an heirloom and enjoy the memories.

Buck 503 Prince is classically styled gentleman's slim-line pocket knife. It has a 2-1/2" drop point 420HC stainless steel blade. The Prince is 3-3/8" long
