Question about Winchester knives

I'm looking at a Winchester knife online that is listed as a 1990 -93 but yet it doesn't seem to have a date stamp on it like other Queen made Winchesters I've seen. Would this be an authentic Queen made Winchester or no?

If I'm not mistaken, which I often am, Queen made most of the black box Winchester's
But I'd have to see it to be sure. :)

There are some Winchester branded knives that where made in Solingen Germany as well. OH

Here is the knife in question. There are no other markings on the tang. The seller told me it was her grandfathers and purchased new between 1990 and 1995

My GUESS is that it is not a Queen made trapper. But I haven't really compared yours to Queen's made of the early 90's.
I have not seen a Queen knife with that bone and as you said there should be a date stamped on the tang.
It could have been built by Blue Grass Cutlery but as I said it is a GUESS!

I've looked and haven't found any Winchesters made in the USA during that time period
that had nothing stamped other than Winchester Trademark USA

The blades are wrong for being a Queen made knife. My guess is Bear & Sons, although I don't know when it would have been made.

Tang looks odd to me but I'm far from an expert. The stamping for the word "Winchester" is different on each blade.KLC12670_1.jpgKLC12670.jpg
I found an sold listing on a site for this one. It was listed as 1992,and its stamped 92 on the pile side tang.

Could it be a mint example of a pre-war Winchester? WRA had two tiers of pocketknives in that era, the top tier had similar tang stamps on both blades while the more affordable tier was marked like Roberts knife (WINCHESTER only on the secondary blades). OH

My GUESS is; it’s a forgery made to look like what you mentioned.

IIRC all the BB Winchesters had the year of manufacture stamped on the tang.
