Question , can I weld two pcs of 1095 together ??

I have a few pcs of 1095 thats 1 1/5 in wide. could I weld them together to make the 3in wide??

Sure.....but what do you want them to be when you finish....that is the real question.

If you’re forging you’d be better off stacking the pieces, forge welding and then drawing them out to the length and blade height that you need. If you’re going to place them side by side, weld the seam, then try to draw it out, I’m guessing you’ll have issues with it wanting to separate.
