Question CRK Small Sebenza Classic Gold Wire Inlay 2002

My main question is if anyone knows how many of these were made in 2002? Were they made multiple years in a set amount of limited numbers?

Also, I think I have the wrong birthcard and box with the knife because the card reads “Small Sebenza Classic Wood” with “Macassar Ebony Inlays”. The year is correct on the card (2002) but I notice other models like this have “Gold Wire Inlay” on the card and mine does not.

The date code on the inside of the scale is A-02 which I believe means January-March of 2002. This would definitely rule out the birth card that shows September, 2002.

Thanks for any help.

It's common that the dato code on the scales does not match the time when the knife got put together - the dob.
Didn’t know that. Thanks. Do you think they would have accidentally left off the “Gold Wire Inlay” on the birth card? My guess is that this birth card does not go with the knife but I could be wrong.

My 21 and my reg both have scales that are a quarter apart from the card, nothing really to worry about..

Id worry if the scales indicated later than the card.

Well in my small mind, the gold inlay is important and it not being on the card means the inlay was not done by CRK. The birth card could be correct. Lone Wolfe has one, ask her. It’s in the post just above this one:
