question for 110/112 pro owners

i bought a 112 pro today. went thru all the ones they had and found the one with the best action with no play. then i get out to the truck, unbox it, open it and notice the thumb stud is loose. both sides of the stud spin. is this normal? i didnt even notice it when opening them at the counter.

most of them were pretty solid but a few had terrible side to side wobble.

Somebody said the studs are pressed together, try pressing them in a vice or maybe exchange it?

Ya its just pressed together you could protect it and tap with hamme or squeeze with pliers.

I've installed one and they are pressed fit.

My very early Buck 110 Pro Hunter doesn’t have a thumb stud. OH
