Question for Alan Folts

First of, great job on the 2 knives on the home page.
I was just wondering what the handle material was. Is it corian?

Well Matt, first thanks for the praise I am still in the starter stages of knifemaking, I have only been making for about 6 years now, so getting a compliment is great...

The dagger handle is turned from a chunck of black alabaster, with small flecks of mica it has little sparkles, so I left it at about a 600 grit satin to show the sparkles and flecks of different materials. I tried to seal it and bring it to a high polish but it all just turned black, so I figured if I wanted black I coulda used synthetics, so I left it at a satin, its a real neet material in person...
