Question for anyone with a DDR Dominator 35

I'm hoping I'm asking this in the correct section of the forum.

I recently got a DDR Dominator 35 to clean and sharpen for a friend. With my work area scattered in several different places in my basement and garage, I somehow lost some internal parts.

From what I think/know, the dominator 35 has a washer inside the titanium scale, the bearing, then another washer/spacer between the blade and bearing.

At some point, the washers/spacers between the blade and bearings fell out. I cannot find them anywhere. I have contacted via email and phone DDR knives with no response. I know you can order these parts on some websites, I'm just not sure what they look like or sizes. I was wondering if someone could help me out.

Send message to Ian Ralph on FB. Also just so you know they are out on knife show

I have a DDR 35, have taken it apart several times, Mine only has a washer (1 washer) per side and it sits in the titanium scale. Mine does not have any washers between the blade itself and the bearings.

Awesome man, thank you so much. Do you know if there is something against the blade and bearing? Maybe like a clear plastic looking spacer of some sort?

No, I don't think there would be.... You want the absolute hardest surface between the actual bearings and the blade so you won't have any drag. I have quite a few bearing flippers from production to midtech to full customs and so far none of them have ever had anything between the bearing and the blade. Usually they have a Stainless Steel washer nested in the titanium scales because the hardened bearings will put a groove into the Titanium eventually making a fitted pivot loose. Kinda the same reason Lockbar inserts are more common now.... You want steel on steel. Steel on Titanium usually will cause the Ti to gaul a bit. So as long as you have your stainless washer in the scales, you should be good to go. Hope this helps

That's what I thought as well. For some reason he says with the pivot as tight as he can get it, still blade play. There are nice smooth shiny marks on the blade (as if washers have been against it). That is what is causing him to believe there was something there before. I appreciate your help a lot. Thank you
