Question for Blue Spyderhawk owners

I just got my first Spyderco. Got it from New Graham. I got the Limited run, blue handle, plain edged Spyderhawk. I can see daylight between the blade and the handle when the blade is closed. The knife is closed properly and the daylight appears at mid point of the blade. Can you check your blue Spyderhaks and let me know if this is the way they turned out or do I have a bad grind? The knife functions and feels great! I'm just wondering about the blade. Thanks to all who respond.

same knife, same light They are really wide, aren't they? Very cool knife, but I can't carry it as much as others, since I keep my wallet in my rt. front pocket.

It's really a hairline for me.

That's the way the Spyderhawks are. The Harpy is the same way. Shouldn't be a problem.
