Question for Buck/Strider fans

This question is for the 881 mini. If you had a choice between BG-42 and ATS-34 what would it be and why? I ask this because I can get an older one with 42 or order a new one with 34. And would BG-42 be worth about 20.00 more?

The Mini Strider in BG 42 was a limited run. It was etched 1st Production Run and was numbered xxx/500. There were only 500 made in each the spearpoint and tanto blades. The ATS-34 was the regular production model and I'm sure there have been thousands made over the 4 years it has been in production. The mini 881 has been discontinued for 2005. Which ever one you decide on you might want to snap it up.

Thanks for the reply. This knife shop has alot of old knives laying around. I've already gotten a UK Pen and Chinise Lum and he's got the 881 spear point and tanto, each in BG-42. I'm sure there's more, ones I don't know what I'm looking at. Thanks again.
