question for case fans

over the past 5 years ive bought 2 case knives. on the spine where the brass and steel are sanwiched there seems to be a burr on the brass. I called case and the women who answered had no idea what i was talking about. These knives were bought 3 years apart and both had the burr....my question is does this go away in time. Id like to start collecting case knives but after owning some chris reeve knives ive become spoiled by perfection. Thanks for the replys.

I too have noticed this on some of my Case pocketknives. In my opinion this would take quite awhile to "wear Off" if you carried it daily. Case knives cannot even compare to the quality of Chris Reeves knives! Good Luck!
