Question for CF sebenza owners

Does the full CF slab have any NEGATIVE effects on the knife? I know there's a bit of a weight difference but are there any compromises regarding strength, lock up or that solid feeling you get from the TI slabs or is it just weight and asthetics?
 
It is rock solid.
I'm on my 3rd CF and I can't say enough good things about it.
My new EDC is a large CF Insingo and for large knife it disappears in my pocket.
I carry a 4in 1911 so my right side is already weighed down so I had been carrying a Spyderco Dragonfly.
Honestly I don't think there is much of a weight difference between the two
 
I found one downside but it could just be the example I have: If I tighten the pivot down as hard as possible the knife will not open, as though the bushing is not as effective against the CF scale. It's not a big deal as I can still tighten it fully, but if I really torque it I can get it to lock the knife shut which is not true for my Ti CRKs.
 
It's a little slick in the hand. That's the only negative for me so far. I'd like to have an anso pattern filed into mine. Might find someone to do it for me.
 
I find no downsides to the CF scale. I use mine daily. It's not as grippy as sandblasted Ti, but it is adequate in terms of firm grip, in my opinion.
 
What about disassembly and reassembly? Any concerns about overtightening with CF scale as opposed to the TI scale?

No. I try not to over tighten anyway, but the CF is not something you'll have to be extraordinarily careful with.
 
I love mine, I have only had it a week and it has been with me daily. The CF on mine has some texture for a nice grip, and the reduction in weight is noticible. I don't see less structural integrity with the use that I put my knife through, but others that use their knife harder might have a different story.
 
I have had one for awhile.....I like it better than the full TI....same strength much less weight, and on a side note the sound they make when they close is really close....it is like glass.....much cooler sound then when you close a full TI.
 
I love my 25 carbon fiber, its used as a 2nd knife.

the sound is very different then my 21s when you thumb it open
