Question for Fiskars X7 owners

sqchram, in another thread, just had an I had not considered. The discussion was about hatchet/saw combinations.

His idea involved putting a saw in the handle. Since I don't have a small saw, I am wondering if any of the folding models are small enough to fit in the handle of the X7. Of course, with a tight enough cap, you could even carry some beer in there. But for now, I am mostly interested in what woodsy purpose the hollow handle might serve.

This might be a good time for some of you kydex people to start making X7 handle plugs. Just don't forget your old buddy.

I honestly can't think of a higher purpose than carrying beer - unless it could carry bourbon.

But on a serious note, you might find a folding saw blade (blade only) that fits inside the handle. Perhaps you could adapt the blade to some sort of simple bushcrafted handle.
