After making fixed blades the last few years I started making some folders.
My question is: How do you guys do a hand rub finnish on such a small blade? In other words how do you hold the blade so it doesn't move?
There must be an easier way than what I'm doing.
Pics would help.(worth a thousand words) :D
Thanks fore the help.

Get a board, preferably a good hard wood like oak or maple and mount the blade on it by running a screw (drywall screw works fine most of the time, sits fairly flush) through the pivot hole. Should hold it plenty still for sanding.

I use magnets. I put several of layers of masking tape on the blade after sanding the first side to keep it from getting scratched when sanding the second side.
