What is the meaning of your forum handle? With my morning coffee half gone, meaning that half of it is in my system, I can think of two possibilities:

  1. You hunt for knives. (Blade 2008 suggests this is the correct interpretation.)
  2. You hunt with knives. (That then begs the question, what do you hunt with knives? The Rambo-esque "Name it" response is perfectly fine.)
I guess it could be both.:thumbup:

Anyway, inquiring minds want to know. :D

#1 is the winner!

although I have tried #2; I usually came home hungry:p

but hunts with knife at side to clean up the kill...

is my favorite.

But #1 allows me to hunt and harvest on a daily basis without leaving the house:D;)

You may not have mastered the wild animal end of it, but looks like you have pretty well wrapped up the number 1 theory!!

they both require skills that need to be honed and polished on a regular basis:thumbup:;)

no no no
T. treats his infi like desposible toothbrushes and only hunts substitute postmen...
According to him they don't settle very well...

Go boar hunting with a knife, its challenging and if that kind of thing is for you is a diffent kind of feeling than say taking game with a traditional bow or firearm.

Yes there is nothing like being up close and personal with the persuit of the beast to the table. Firearms are convienient but they lack the sincerity of the hunt & the kill.

Amen to that. :thumbup::thumbup:

Here is one of my CGBATACs after it was used to dress two antelopes in Wyoming:

Lunde,

that one is looking good!

Barabbas,

I have watched the Hog hunts on the Outdoor channel for years. I have seen em use the catch dogs on the Hogs and then watch somebody on LSD jump in there and stick em!

Must say I have always wanted to try it!:):)

I grew up on farm and grand pas and my dad and uncles were all Vets. started hunting fishing when I was knee high to a grasshopper. Started deer hunting when I was 8 and dad got me my 1st Bear compound when I was 14.

I am a natural born killer:)

Noting like watching the sun rise or set from the woods, a stand or blind, wherever. period

Chickens in North Georgia will not even cross the road when Knife Hunter comes home too visit!:D:D
Chickenplucker aka Pigletplucker;)

I've always wanted to hunt antelope. We have plenty of whitetails and turkeys here in Virginia. Hog hunting would be awesome! What Busse knife would you use?

I think the attraction to antelope is that they are roughly deer-size, and are also North America's fastest land mammal. Their eyes are like a ten-power binocular. If one is 500 yards away and looking toward you, it sees you. For this reason, they tend to be in the middle of large and open fields. Deer are blind by comparison. I used .308 Winchester (and the Sierra 150gr Spitzer GameKing bullet) for 2003 through 2005, and 6.5x55 SE (and the Sierra 120gr Spitzer Pro-Hunter bullet) for 2006 and 2007.

Oh, and I found out just yesterday that I scored this year's Wyoming non-resident antelope tag, again for Area 003, which is around Moorcroft, which is about thirty minutes south of Devil's Tower.:thumbup:

Lat summer was first real trip out west and we did everything to do within 3-4 hrs of Sedona, within reason.
