Question for Gianni, the SR1 Designer

Ciao Gianni,

I would like to know what was the requirements behind the design of the SR1 ?
For example was it a design primary for hunters ? (Big belly, strong blade and easy to clean open handle...)
My other Italian knives (when not made by Ultima Ratio) do not provide such radical ideas.

the SR-1 was disegned by Mik Molletta not by Gianni who is the maker
design is intended for mid-heavy use, not spcifically for hunting, the thick profile is not promarily meant to be good for skinning but rather for an all round knife you can do most things you can think of without worrying
