Hi, Are the blades on the sr-1 cut with a laser or other?

That would be my first guess. I was just wondering, because spyderco typically cuts out the blade by laser and then grinds them. As where strider cuts them out with a water jet to keep the heat treated integrity of the steel.

These are the steps:
1) cut the blade using the laser without any hole. This blades has over-material in all perimeter
2) using the CNC milling machine we take away the over-material, drill the holes and everything the blade needed.
3) using Berger CNC grinding machine we make the blades surfaces
