Question for Glock Experts.

I recently got a used Gen 3 Glock 19 with a few custom parts installed by a glock armorer, including a light connector matched to a polished trigger bar.
I really like this setup as this will be primarily a range gun to play with. The trigger pull is about 4 pounds with no creep, no overtravel and a very short reset. Shooting it still feels weird to me (a SA guy at heart), but I am getting used to it. Now, this gun also has a siderlock installed... This is a trigger with a crossbolt safety installed in it.

I find this trigger unnecessarily complicated, dangerous (because your finger must be inside the trigger guard to operate the safety, promoting bad habits) and ugly as hell and I would lke to remove it.
I am trying to find a replacement trigger only.... i do not want to change my current trigger bar as it is perfectly coupled to the rest of the components...
Do you glock fans know of a company that sells just triggers? Alternatively i would be happy to buy a not too expensive trigger+trigger bar assembly that can be taken apart...

Replies are greatly apprecated.

Thank you very much.

I'm not aware of anywhere that sells just the trigger. The factory trigger is not designed to be removed.

You will need to buy a new trigger bar. You can easily polish it yourself in about a minute with a buffer or a Dremel.

as John and RRTX commented, if you stick with stock Glock parts and replace the entire trigger/draw bar assembly (it's easier for me to slightly pry up the entire locking block to gain clearance to remove/replace) try to keep the contact point with the striker as parallel as possible to the striker, and take a slight "break" to the top edge with a stone... polish the "dome" of the firing pin safety plunger in addition to the parts mentioned....when you replace the trigger group, insert the smaller locking block pin first so the spring of the slide stop can be slid in place... when removing the larger pin, just apply pressure with a punch, and wiggle the slide stop fore and aft as it locks the pin in place... I've seen "Glock Armorers" smack it with a punch and hammer....if you need help pulling the upper end apart.... ask....

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping to keep the current trigger bar because I noticed that non only all contact parts are polished, but the contact angles between disconnector and bar are different than with stock parts. I am worried that if I change trigger bar the gun will get an odd pull unless I also change the disconnector... I hope this makes sense.... my hope was to buy a nice trigger by itself, or a complete trigger assembly to then remove the pin holding the trigger connected to the trigger bar. I know you cannot do that with a standard glock trigger, but I assumed this could be done with aftermarket triggers. (The siderlock is also sold as is, with no trigger bar I think.....

Or I guess I will just buy a disconnector, and a full trigger with bar and start polishing.... I just do not think I can do as good of a job as the gunsmith that worked on it before... the trigger is currently really nice and smooth.

Thanks again for your time.

you probably don't need to change the connector... the difference in connectors is primarily the angle at which he connector forces down the trigger bar to release the striker, the shape of the tip of the trigger bar in contact with the connector can change the feel....it took me about a year of 2 matchs a month, to transition from 25+years of a 3 1/2 pound 1911 trigger to that of a Glock....
