I was wondering if you guys could give me your opinion on something. I have thought about doing some knives in the antique finish but leaving the spine in a satin finish. In other words not darkening the spine, only the blade. Would that look weird or would you prefer it?

I sanded off the antique finish on the spline on one of the knives I got from you.
I think it looks better. Also the last knife you made for me with less blade depth and more of a point is also better.

I really dig your originals!
And i believe it would be easier for me to shine the spine if wanted, than to match your finish, just my .02 ;).....

Yep! Don't change a daym thing,Chris....except....perhaps....step up production, to match demand....:D....

I like them the way they are. JMO. But you can make an option if you want.

Chris, would have to agree whole heartedly with G-Man & Wilson, "It ain't broke, leave it alone" . . . We can always take some sandpaper, steelwool, grinder, belt sander, sand blaster, or a local 6 year old if we want the knife to be "changed" . . . .
Great work on your stuff buddy, I would leave it alone unless your client requested it that way . . . .
Be safe.

+1 on leaving the whole thing antiqued, love the look...with that said, if you made a knife with a polished spine it wouldn't stop me from buying it. Just prefer the all antiqued look.

I like em just like they are but would like to see a few more blade patterns ~poke~ pics I sent ~poke~
