i am a collector of fixed blade alpha hunters and mini alphas. i only have one stag handle one. i would like to get MORE....so where is the best place to look???....the one i did see was a special run for Bass pro....any advice would be appreciated. i love these knives, they are the toughest i've used....and good lookin:)

Say Bail, while we are waiting on JB to show up, what state goes with that Huntsville?? Alpha fixed blades huh... Why you discriminating against the folders? Just curious :D
 
I'm guessing Texas because of the "bail" in his handle... Huntsville Texas has a huge prison system.... :confused::rolleyes::D
 
o yeah and dont get me wrong i like the folders....but i have just always liked a fixed blade.....my dad favors folders though:)
 
Oh well,,,can't everyone be from Texas...:o:D Bummer, we wouldn't be all that far and you could play with the couple of folders and the one fixed mini I have...:rolleyes::D

Hi Bailebr3,

Welcome to the Buck forum!!!! You can currently get an Alpha stag fixed and folder in stag with the gold blade cut out at BP. Cabalas also has the Mini Alpha and Alpha folder in their AG S30V series. Keep an eye on ebay in the last week there have been several stag Alpha's that went for a very good price. Can you post some photo's of your Alpha collection....we would love to see them.

well never mind.....i cant upload right now...cant find the cable!!! but for the time being i'll give a list:
1.mini alpha- rosewood-ats34
2.mini alpha-cabelas proline
3.alpha hunter-rosewood-ats34
4.alpha hunter-rosewood-mirror polished 154cm
5.alpha hunter-rubber handle-420hc(with engraving,done locally)
6.alpha hunter-walnut-i guess its 420hc(doesnt say anything on blade)
7.alpha hunter-stag-polished 154cm(pick up at the shriners show)
8.alpha hunter-rosewood-s30v- cabelas alaskan guide series( only one i own with a gut hook and even though i hunt i have never used those gut hooks

I know I'm not jb... but, the BCCI is a great place to get knives of interest, and don't count out Larry Oden. He has gotten me most of my rarest knives. Don't forget to check out the sale threads here on Blade Forums. Nice knives get posted!

you can build your own alpha hunter that will be super rare ;)
