I forgot to ask you this a long time ago. Did someone buy Eloy a new shotgun? The one that he was using in your video was just plain scary.

The way how they treat their shotguns, the should buy stainless steel models.

By the way, do you have any plans on offering any more videos of your jungle expeditions?

Eloy does just fine with that old POS shotgun. The funny part is the breech lock is broke so it's held closed with a vine. Once you shoot it, you untie the vine, open it up and place another shell in.

Haven't seen Eloy in a couple of years. Rumor has it he's working as a mule for some folks that I'd rather not hang out with. With that said, he's absolutley the best jungle man I have ever met. You wouldnt want this man after your ass, even if he only has a junk shotgun.

As far as a video, we have no plans for any type of prodessional release. We're talking with a couple of companies about some additional film projects, but other than that we would rather just have fun in the jungle rather than sell videos. A couple of these new 'real world' TV series like Survivor called us but we told them we wanted nothing to do with their Bull**** Hollywood productions.

Take care,

Jeff

Thanks for the reply. I've been watching the Survivor2 series. You're right. It's a joke.

Jeff, if Mark Burnett (Survivor producer) called you, you'd be missing a trick by not at least talking to him. The show may be a joke, but he's got many millions to throw around on expertise like yours that need not be. For example, training the production crew in jungle techniques for their own edfication/safety on the next shoot, etc.

As a 16 plus year veteran of teaching GLOBAL SURVIVAL skills... I would enjoy working on the series... I would have taken the call and ran with it. After all, they need some help behind the camera and I could use both the cash and exposure.

Oh well... as it stands right now... I am off for another week of high altitude, avalanche and arctic survival. Teaching a class at Mt. Shasta in California. Leaving tonight and will be gone for a week. I'll check back next saturday evening (my 42nd birthday)
