Jeff- I was just wondering what knife/knives you edc and what esee is your favorite

I hope this hasn't been covered as this is my first post
 
He's watching all the NutnFancy videos this weekend before he answers this post. :yawn:
 
I'm putting my money on an old slip-joint and a machete.
( maybe a SOG multi-T in the cargo pants)
 
currently my $$ would be on him carrying an esee3 folder and izula along with a tramontina machete. (and a junglas strapped to the side of his pack)

This poor new guy was asking an honest question, look at us hooligans! :D

But really, no way he carries one of those ESEE's. They talk down on batoning cuz they know the knives dont hold up and are tired of the returns :eek: Not to mention they are forcing dealers to charge MSRP! :p
 
If memory serves correct, he likes big-ass beefy folders, slip joints, and cheap ass machetes. He's mentioned carrying a Galyean folder awhile ago. I believe he recently took a BRKT bumble bee for one of his classes. However, he's also mentioned trying to bust out windows with a 3, so I think he does randomly carry his own knives in his truck. Recently he's been testing the Lion steel prototypes of the 3/f and hest/f. I even saw a photo of him carrying a Junglas on his pack. Gotta be just for the ballast. And I bet he's laughing his ass off that I remember any of this off the top of my head.

Bingo!

Typically my folder carry will change up if I'm reviewing something. But when I review a product I spend several months with it in my pocket. Not one of those 1 day reviews.For example, I've already found a couple of things I don't like about the ESEE-3 Folder proto. Don't ask, will explain at a later time.

Will be using the Chris Reeve fixed blade for the next several months of work.

I remembered all of this stuff too but I didn't want to be the first one to admit that I pay such close attention to Jeff's posts...
