I have been browsing on these forums for the past 2 days and I still have one question. Jerry, what did you do to piss off Ron Hood. I owned his first six videos and he praised your knives like they were the only ones in existance, I just went back to his site (its been three years since I have been there) and now he wont give you the time of day. It seams that he will only praise you if you pay him so I have elected not to do further buisness with him until I can figure out if that is the case. He has deleted all references to your blades off of his website, edited the videos to take out referrences to your blade and he even puts them down in his forum. His knew favorite is tops. Sorry for the rant but I think "hoods woods may have got to big for his Pants" and it kinda pissed me off. FWIW I do not own a semi-custom/custom blade yet but I will be purchasing one in the near future. I will probably end up with the swamp rat even though my wife wants me to go for the busse, unless you plan on releasing something simular to the BM or SH I will have to go with your sister company. Let me know if you are going to release something simular to the BM or SH in the near future. Thanks

BTW, the new Steel Heart and Battle Mistress are scheduled to be released sometime this winter (I think)

Ron is also the Mayor of the City of Crouch (Garden Valley), Idaho and a member of the Governors Roundtable for Families and Children.

He has used his manipulation to gain popularity and now he is in power. Scary!
 
1022, You must forgive our dear, dear Shaggi. This is definitely no "Craze". It is a tradition of quality and integrity that we all hope will be around for decades to come. We Hogs horde these blades so our children, grand children and their children's children will have top quality bladeware for their lives. We Hogs may be fanatical about our choice in cutlery, but I assure you not even three quarters of us are crazed. :D Welcome to the clan brother.
 
Hey 1022! I just checked out your site and I just wanted to say that I think you did a great job on that 10/22. That stock is really sweet.
 
I just cant resisit the phrase phrase " I own a swamp Rat" and I must own one the says "INFI" on it so the wife gave me permision for one of each. Looks like when I raise the funds I will be ordering a bandicoot and a battle mistress when they are re-released. I think the craze (tradition) has already started. There is only one problem: when my wife gets her hands on the battle mistress it won't be mine for long.

Nah, these guys (and girls - don't forget the girls!:D ) aren't crazy at all!
Somewhat apart from what's considered "normal" out there, but not crazy!:D :D :D
Oh.....I am in the one fourth "not crazy" category too, I belive!:p
 
That's right Porcupine, never forget the "girls" especially the ones who send out the "INFI"!!!Then you would be "crazy"!!!:D :D
