Question for Jimmy

You might have already answered this and I just missed it, but I was wondering what model(s) you (Jimmy, our BM mod) carry and what it is you like about them.

I'm interested to see if maybe there's a hidden gem that just doesn't come through in online photos, me being someone that rarely gets to handle a knife first hand before purchasing.

Others are free to chime in too of course.

Currently carry the mini grip doug Ritter with custom DOAT canvas micarta scales. And love every second of it.

Well, I tend to prefer medium to larger knives as I have larger hands. Also, being a tactical/shooting and hunting nerd I tend to prefer the more aggressive styles of knives.

So that being said here are some of my favorites:

583SBK Custom, CPM-M4 blade, black liners, sand vertical pattern G10 handles
-Love the color combo and the G10 and M4 upgrade really makes it nice.

8600SBK
-Love the crazy shape of this knife.
-Axis auto is my favorite of the auto mechanisms.

810SBK
-My favorite blade/handle shape of our lineup. Love the M4.
-Don't love the peel ply G10 as it eats up your pants.

590BK
-Extremely comfortable in the hand.
-Like the color accents on the handles.

-Just love the throw back look and the modern accents on this knife.

Since you're tactically minded, can we get a "tactical" crooked river? Bolsterless green g10 and black blade? Maybe even M4. Like the 710-801.

No I just think it would be cool with canvas or linen micarta. Almost like the new 319 handle we just launched.

I agree! I generally like brighter colors, but that's a lot of real estate for safety orange or blue. Something more neutral like OD green would make it look a little different without drawing unneeded attention to the rather large knife in your hand.
