I have a question about the shipping method for the Strider Solution. I sell knives but don't get through enough yet to really know when something is wrong. I sold a Solution a while ago and just got another for stock. When I opened the box to check it, it was in the sheath and covered in sheath fluff. The grinds were off and there is a little indentation on the blade (left side) that looks like a 'Seconds' mark.

My questions are.

Does Buck mark and sell seconds?
What should a Solution be packed in? IIRC last time it had the card sheath (like a flat tube)and was in a plastic bag. The Sheath was loose in the box along with the warranty.

It comes in the product box inserted in the sheath and then packed in a shipping box. Factory blemishes are sold through the company store and marked with an FB, but they are only for walk in customers as far as I know. Did you order it from us? Or someone else? Let me know.

You can send the knife to me and I will check it out for you and make sure its good to go, and replace it if necessary. E-mail me your info and where you purchased it etc.

Thanks for the reply. I have spoken to the distributor and its been sorted out. I had convinced myself though that it came with the car cover and a plastic bag. Oh well, must be getting old :)

Another quick question regarding the Striders. Is production running properly after the move and are you behind, on, or ahead of schedule? I have a 890 on order thats taking the distributor forever to get in stock.

The last I checked the 890's were on their way to completion. Back orders should start filtering through any time.

The production staff has really stepped up and gotten underway quickly. We broke ground in June and the factory is already pumping out knives. An outstanding job by those guys!

Waiting for funding brother....Same thing happened to me in Nov 01. Got spun up and had to wait a month or more for orders.
