Hi Mike ( knifeswapper knifeswapper ),

First and most importantly, I hope you and your the family are doing well!

I really dig so many of your collaborations but these days my pocket carry is getting pretty refined. I know that I prefer a knife that is 3.5-3.75" long (closed) and I'm growing increasingly fond of slim models.

Have you ever thought about something on the order of a single blade Mini Trapper or Mini Copperlock? Not meaning the exact models obviously, just as a size reference.

I think something that svelt, but with M390 and the flair your input brings would be incredible.

Just curious about your thoughts is all.

:)

I appreciate the thoughts. We are on a journey and every day brings new complications and many times new praises. Just trying to insure our travels glorify God.

That is a little smaller (height) than what I lean towards. I have been hurting my head trying to come up with the next one.

I think a small peanut style would be outstanding - but I am worried it would add a lot of complications.

One day at a time friend. :)

Selfishly speaking, the height is much less an "issue" as the width. I'm again thinking the Mini Copperlock as comparison. I can so see something about this size with your inputs.

Admittedly it is an overall package for sure.

Peanut gets too small for my personal tastes but I surely do look forward to whatever you come up with.

Keep up the good work. I really respect that you're trying to find that meld between old and new schools.

Eli Chaps Eli Chaps . Would the single blade #48 fit your needs?

This one is a two blade, but I think GEC has made some single blade 48’s

A Slimline Trapper style in modern materials etc. would be cool.

As would a little mini toothpick or peanut or something

That's a beauty and thank you for pointing it out. But for this I'd be chasing a steel like M390.

Have you checked out the lionsteel Ck-01 shuffler? It’s maybe not as slim as you’re looking for but the size range and m390 boxes are both ticked. And they carry quite well. And you can only get them with mike

I have and I like it very much and may well end up with one but yeah, I was dreaming about something svelt. :)

I have around 4 of Mike's LionSteel creations...... All are 5 star+...... Great knives in all respects and very nicely priced..... The Onat is a particularly wonderful knife with a pinchable blade even with my gnarly, arthritic hands.....
