OK, I know there are lots ofpeople making sheathes here, and I have to assume some of you use shoe polish even without making sheathes. ;)

I have a coupla rags that I use for polishing up as last step, whether it's sheathes or shoes, and they're getting rather stained(probably a sign of using too much polish, I know, I'm working on it). Anyways, was wondering if I can just throw these in with regular wash, or if the polish will get on rest of clothes in that load then. Just regular Kiwi paste(wax paste I guess? DUnno, normal little round tins)

get the little woman to do it then you can blaime her if it does..
not me though ;)

I wouldn't even worry about that. Been using the same rag for that purpose for about 20 years...

Just my opinion, but I can't see any reason to even try it. Why risk it? If it works, you save a rag, if it doesn't, you'll have a whole basket of them.

stuff's nasty....I left a polishing rag in a pile with an old pair of workpants and it stained 'em big time. (got 'em greasy too)

Seems like we have a consensus then. Well, except for Dan. And his advice doesn't help cuz I don't have a little woman. ONly reason I can afford to spend as much on guns, ammo and knives(and knifemaking stuff) as I do. ;)

I was mainly concerned with problems with mixing colors, but with y'alls input, and fact that even though they get a decentamount of color on them while working, that it doesn't seem to be "spreadable" the next week or whatever when I use them again, or at least not enough to affect it when I change colors, I'll ignore it. Thanks guys. :)

NO NO NO.   Don't even think about it. Buy some new rags or some old holy t-shirts. Not the washer ( I'll tell the woman in your life ) Cavelady
