Question for Mini Culloden owners.

I just bought a Cold Steel mini Culloden. The pommel of the knife is slightly bent to one side. Is this normal or is this some sort of defect?

'Tis normal otherwise you wouldn't be able to tell by feel which is the sharpened edge and which is jimped.
