Gday, larry sugested i talk to you regarding getting gold membership, forwarding the $30 to your P Pal acc and you upgrading for me, i was wondering if you would be willing to do this for me,

Im Tim in Australia, I also am a USA Schrade knife Collector, I dont have as many as Larry, this was my last hiding place.

To do this for someone else, you have to go thru the 1SKS site, but I will be happy to do this for anyone needing it. It takes a few days for everything to be accounted for and changed, unlike going thru the forum.
 
Yes and unfortunately they dont offer a basic $10 membership to international persons, if they did i would pay for 5 years in one payment.

Many or most of those I purchased when the Australian dollar was 71 cents to the US dollar plus post, cost me a fortune. Its at 93 cents now. Still I am happy with them. Dont know what Larrys going to do with all his??

I had addressed all the issues when I attempted to join and was stopped in my tracks when it stated BF does not accept Paypal or accept credit cards. The above requires verification of Credit card details by an Australian Bank to a third party overseas which is akin to being on a hiding to nothing with our Australian strict Privacy Laws.
It took me 30 seconds to remit to Ron/Mountainwind by Paypal and fill out my application and 'Bingo' I was a gold member...I suggest it will take longer than 30 seconds waiting for an Australian Bank to verify the details of a credit card to a merchant overseas and I'm a former Bank Manager 22 years. I was just letting Oz members know how I handled the Blade Forum rules re joining. Hoo Roo
 
That it explains it Larry, you were a Bank Manager for 22 years thats why you have 1400 Schrade knives, Just like money in the bank.
Thats what my Schrade collector friend told me when I started collecting Schrades; "Just like money in the bank"

Yeh Tim..I'm just like Uncle Scrooge McDuck diving off my diving board into my luuvvly Schrades...I can even swim backstroke thru them mate!
My wife has strict instructions to bury them all with me...I may need to peel an apple in the hereafter.............after 7 years collecting ...my body is showing pin cracks..both my bolsters are tarnished....not to mention my corkscrew is now shorter than it was...scales are shrinking...and I'm losing my edge mate!......Hoo Roo
 
larry after your advice i checked with admin and now you can use your credit card, you just follow the normal manual system through 1SKS and Ignore the part about non US customers and just proccess it.they give exemptions to membership payments.
PS just won out of box LB5 & 897UH for $39.95 , ill use them as gifts.
