Mr. Carson--I have no doubt of your skill as a knifemaker, and your pursuit to create quality, rugged, affordable knives for CRK&T. I know in the past my experience with locking liner folders has not been good.
When I was in a knife shop down in Baltimore while I was on vacation, I looked at your knife, and held it. It had a very good feel. In fact, I commented to the salesman that the action of the blade was nearly as smooth as that of the Sebenza I had just hefted. He agreed and told me they sold a lot of your M-16s, and customers were very happy. My one question is, because I didn't examine it at all, what is the liner like? Is it thick, and strong? I assume it's made from ATS-34 as well, but I could be wrong. If the liner changes from knife to knife, I want to know specifically about the M-16/04, with a tanto blade, combo edge, and aluminum handle.
Thanks! =)
