I haven't seen any other posts on this issue. But my knife came extremely hard to flip open loosened up over time a bit but wasn't quite where it should be even after applying lube. My question is for everybody else have you noticed any problems arising from the washers being cupped? Mine seem to be severely cupped I would assume the knife would operate better if the washers were flat. Any thoughts?

Is it hard to flip, or just a strong detent? Mine has a strong detent but every other part is smooth, haven't taken apart yet.

It does have a strong detent but will still only flip to about 40% open. Closing it does not swing free requires more pressure than any of my other knives to close.

WHERE TO SEND YOUR KNIFE:
When sending your knife for warranty or repair- include a description of the problem and how it occurred. Please send your knife in a box. Knives have a tendency to tear envelopes in transit. Include: Company or individual name, return address (no P.O. Boxes please) daytime phone number. We recommend shipping UPS or registered mail for your tracking purposes.

My washers are cupped as well and it flips awesomely. Make sure they are oriented the right way.
You know taking it apart will void the warranty.
