Question for owners of alliance designs slim pickins

I have both a slim pickins and a mini slim pickins. I noticed occasionally the slim pickins becomes very hard to break free and flip open when using the flipper tab. So hard that sometimes my finger slips off without it flipping open. My mini slim pickins is constantly hard to flip open. I have to use good amount of finger pressure to flip open. I've taken them apart a few times to see if there was anything visible wrong, but can't identify the issue.

I had the same issue.

I broke mine apart, cleaned parts with isopropyl alcohol, and biggest change was adding some 10 weight nano oil ( or oil of your choice ) , including to the button where it contacts the blade and case.

Then all was good. Love the knife.
