Question for power hammer users

Can anyone suggest what they feel is the optimum radius for power hammer dies, the ones I made are about an 8 iinch radius and the material seems a little slow in moving. Thanks

The ones I designed and had made for my 25# Little Giant have a 2.5 inch radius. I talked to Sid at Little giant and that is what he told me was common for the LG's. I can tripple the length of a 1 x 1 x 12 billet in about 4 or 5 heats. Seems to move metal pretty good.
