Question for recent purchasers of a 110

If you purchased a 110 in the past year or so, did the packaging include info promoting the model 055? Seems like 110 buyers would be mighty receptive to that bit of targeted marketing.

BTW, I noticed on the Buck site that the 55 was "out of stock." Hope this is a good sign - meaning that my favorite little Buck is a hot seller.

I've bought four (I think) new 110's in the last few months and didn't see anything in the literature about the 055. I didn't know that they existed until I saw a picture somewhere of one along side a 110.

That blew me away and I bought two of them. I had given an old friend of mine a new 110 not long ago, so I had to give him one of the 55's to go with it. He also loved the 55 and it goes with him everywhere now, even though he has a bunch of knives he could carry.

I think it's a real winner.

I bought 2 for sure, and maybe 3 2008 110's, and none had that in them.

Exhibit A, Buck honchos! I really think you'd sell a ton more 55s if you made every 110 purchaser aware of them via a small flier inside the 110's packaging.
