Question for Rhett

This is probably a bizarre question, but I have to know.

I was watching Strategic Air Command, with Jimmy Stewart. In several scenes he has a knife on his belt or gear, and I was wondering if anyone knows if it was a Randall or not. It is definately not a USAF survival knife, as it has an aluminum buttcap. Also has a riveted sheath and it's shaped like a #3 or 4.

Does anyone know?

I've seen the movie a few times, noticed the knives, but didn't think they were Randall's. They looked more like Western hunting knives to me. My father carried one through WWII and Korea while shipboard.

Thanks, Bruce. I didn't get a good view of the knives, and I thought maybe there was a Jimmy Stewart/Randall story from his WWII pilot days.
