Can you replace the rivet (?) that holds the handle on a Northwest Ranger? If so, whats the cost?

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom,

If you're talking about the brass "sleeve" lining the lanyard hole, yes, we should be able to replace that for you. Unless it failed through a materials or craftsmanship problem, there'd likely be a small fee (about $15) to mostly cover return shipping and handling and a little bit of labor. We refurbish the knife while it's in.

If you are in need of this service, give us a call at: 888.SOG.BEST.

Let me know if there is anything else we can do for you!

Its not a QC issue, I like to tinker with knives. I am sending some other items to Robar and I thought the NW Ranger would look good with one of their coatings, I would have to remove the handle to have it done. It would make a nice color match to my 1911. Thanks for the info.

Tom
