Ron,
Is the edge on the Seal Pup a convex edge or plain double bevel edge?
Thanks - just that I read or mis-read somewhere that the Seal Pup has a convex edge.

Hi Spyken,

The SEAL Pup has two main flat grinds (neither convex nor concave) leading down to a cutting edge that is sharpened on both sides of the blade.

I hope this answers your question. If not, please let me know.

I think what Ron meant to say was "double bevel" edge.
I think (Glockman99 could correct me) that the Tigershark has (or had) a convex edge.;)

Awe crap! This technical stuff again. ;) Thanks Rob for pointing this out.

The cutting surface (you know, that little part of the knife the user routinely sharpens) is ground flat and on both sides of the knife.

If I remember correctly, only older versions of our Tigershark had rolled/convex edges (both sides). All other SOG knives have featured edges with flat bevels.

If any questions remain unanswered, bring 'em on!
