Question for Sal -- Full-Sized Wegner

I have a question regarding the Wegner Sr. At least a couple of posts in the southpaw contest made reference to a Wegner in VG-10. Is this just idle talk, or is the Wegner really coming out in this steel? The Wegner is actually my next Spyderco. I like the Wegner Jr. so much that I have to have the larger version. But I think I'll hold off on the purchase if VG-10 is coming. I love the VG-10 in my full-sized Calypso.

Guyon - There are no plans at this time to make any changes to the Wegner model. The comments were the result of "wishes" type comments made on the forum.

I thought I remembered someone saying back in November or so that the next run of Wegners were to be of VG-10. Did plans change, or is my memory going south along with my eyes?

Mike - the last run of Wegners was very large. The sales have not supported the quantity. If & when there is another run, It will probably have VG-10 steel. The lock is still in question.
