If I were to send one of my millies in would there be a possibility of getting it drilled and tapped for left hand carry? If not does anyone know a place that would make this possible? Im sick and tired of carrying my millies in the pocket without a clip.

Thanks in advance,
Nick

Quoted from Spyderco Forums, Sal is talking on TI Millie, but there's a hint of the left version. Said on the 25th of September.

The one that I have in my pocket is a plain edge. As mentioned, they will be plain.

I didn't think they were shipping yet, but I did hear the left hand Millie was ready to ship.

Send a message to STR in the Makers' forum. I think he could help you with that.

Here is a STR Clip on my Paramilitary for L/H Carry he does excellent work

Spyderco does not do custom work. As has been suggested, Steve (STR) is the man to talk to. Unless you want it set up for tip up carry, you'll want to have him make you a new clip, or purchase a straight clip (or one which curves the opposite way) from Spyderco. The standard Military clip would look really odd if used for LH/TD, since it would be curved the wrong way.

The Lefty Milli has started shipping to dealers. However, it is drilled for tip-down carry only. I'll try tip-down for a while to see if I can get used to it, but will probably get it modded for tip-up down the road.

Brad Southard (Tricod on the factory forum) did an excellent job of modding my D2 Milli for tip-up using an E4/D4 clip. I'm not sure if he's doing this kind of work anymore, however.

I am really looking forward to getting a liner lock designed for me.
