Hi Sal,

I was wondering, are there any plans for making either a left handed lil' temperance, or maybe one where the clip can be switched and the scales are not contoured quite so agressively for one hand? I really want to get one, but I am one of the 12%... ;-)

Hi Clinton. It's not out of the question. Right now we're having difficulty making enough of the right hand plain edge.

Hi Sal,

Thanks for the response. I figured that there was a big run on these knives. Since I am more or less ambidextrous (read, equally clumsy with both hands) I think I will just buckle down and get one of the right handed ones anyway, and wait for the denim blue left hand version for later...

Is this knife user maintainable (easy to clean, dissassemble, adjust the lock etc.) for someone with a reasonable amount of mechanical ability? I have heard very good things about the durablity and solidity of the lockup on the temperance, but even the best equipment and moving parts need to "bed in" before they work optimally.

Best regards

Clinton

most of spyderco's upper end knives could be rendered 'lefty friendly' by just allowing the clip to be switched. There's several upper end models I'd be buying if the clips could be switched....
