I've got a chance at an old timer 44OT, nib. could anyone tell me anything about this knife?? I've never seen one of these. here's what i know so far, made from 90-93, and a limited run in 2001 with a blade etch of some type. and this is one of very few old timers with 4 blades. okay that's all i know so any help would be appreciated. thanks, ahgar

I don't profess to be a genius...

But, I believe that was known as the Workmate. Don't know much else about it, but I'd also suggest posting the question in the Schrade Collectors forum.

Nope, you had values.

Did that one look like a 340T stockman, but with four blades? If so, that is the knife I remember so well that I used to carry. I kept having trouble wondering why all the other stockmans I came across only had three blades. I wish I knew whatever became of that knife, or don't want to remember maybe. It could have been traumatic.

you got it, looks just like a 34OT but with an extra blade. really neat little knife. you're better off not remembering because if your like me you probably sold it {too cheap} or traded it for "the knife" which you kept for about 2 weeks for the next"the knife". dang it's a vicious circle. later, ahgar

Heavy SIGH! Yup, to me the ultimate stockman. Guess at current prices I won't be replacing it. If I did, I'd still want it to use as it was meant to be.

I think I'll go be sad now. :(
