Hello.
What is the procedure for ordering custom Q knives? Is it possible to get just 1 or what is your minimum order? Also, would the cost of the knives be less if I request just letters instead of artwork?
Also what is the maximum number of letters that I could get as part of the "Q".
thanks.

Me being new to Spyderco and all, I hope this isn't a stupid question, but what is a "Q" knife exactly?

I have been hearing a bit about them recently and have no idea what they are.

I've also been looking for a source for the "Q's". I once collected Spydies' on a large scale, but have since sold them off for other interests. I sometimes miss them......especially the "Q's". I was always particularly fond of them--they are such unique little knives--the beauty of simplicity thing probably. I've found a couple in the exchange section of BFC, but they are few and far between there. Is there still anywhere to buy them--maybe some dealers out there that still have them? Perhaps someone here has more than they want or need? Thanks.

Take it easy.

Not bad at all, I know of a few dealers that used to have some of those for sale, even recently I think. I'll have to go to the phone tomorrow and see if any are still available for acquisition. If so, I may pick one up. What would a decent price be on one of those little critters?
Thanks,
Tique

Hi Pergatory. We can still make Q's in plastic handles (like the original) or with almite handles (likethe "R").

I don't think we would make less than 500 pcs in a custom design. We can make one, but it would be quite expesnive.

I have the American flag model. Is it valuable or something?

general,

several q patterns were made and there are folks out there that strive to have one of each. the flag as i recall isnt the hardest to find. they show up on ebay with some regularity.

do a search and i think youl find a bunch of posts describing each.
